Plain language: Use WikrenaOS to run your legitimate service business. Do not use it for anything illegal, harmful, or deceptive. Violations may result in immediate account suspension.
1. Purpose of This Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using WikrenaOS, operated by Wikrena Limited. It applies to all users — individuals and organisations — regardless of their subscription tier, including Free plan users.
This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using WikrenaOS, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.
2. Permitted Uses
WikrenaOS is designed for and may be used by:
- Professional service businesses managing client engagements, invoices, and scope agreements
- Consultants, agency owners, freelancers, trainers, and similar professionals
- Teams within organisations managing client-facing service delivery work
- Any lawful professional or commercial activity consistent with the platform's intended purpose
3. Prohibited Uses
You must not use WikrenaOS for any of the following purposes:
3.1 Illegal activities
- Any activity that violates applicable Nigerian law, including the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act 2015, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Act, or any other applicable regulation
- Money laundering, financial fraud, advance fee fraud, or any form of financial crime
- Creating or sending fraudulent invoices or fabricating client records to misrepresent your financial position
- Any use that facilitates or encourages criminal activity
3.2 Harmful or deceptive content
- Sending spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or phishing communications through WikrenaOS's messaging features
- Impersonating any person or organisation, or misrepresenting your identity or affiliation
- Creating fake client records or fabricated scope approvals to deceive any party
- Using WikrenaOS to conduct or facilitate scams of any kind
3.3 Platform abuse
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any other user's account or data
- Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the WikrenaOS platform or its infrastructure
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble WikrenaOS's code
- Introducing malware, viruses, or any malicious code to the platform
- Using automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the platform at scale without prior written authorisation
- Deliberately disrupting or degrading the service for other users
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent Free plan limits or to abuse the 14-day refund policy
3.4 Intellectual property violations
- Uploading content that infringes the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party
- Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing access to WikrenaOS without written authorisation from Wikrena Limited
- Creating competing products or services by copying or substantially reproducing WikrenaOS's design, features, or code
3.5 Data misuse
- Entering personal data about individuals without a lawful basis under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023
- Using WikrenaOS to process sensitive personal data (health, biometric, financial, or other special category data) without appropriate safeguards and without notifying Wikrena Limited
- Sharing access credentials with individuals outside your organisation or team
4. Content Standards
Any content you create or store within WikrenaOS — including client names, engagement descriptions, invoice notes, and scope documents — must not:
- Be false, misleading, or designed to deceive
- Contain material that is defamatory, abusive, threatening, or harassing toward any individual
- Violate any person's privacy or data protection rights
- Infringe any third party's intellectual property rights
5. Team Member Responsibilities
If you are a Team or Business plan subscriber with multiple users on your account, you are responsible for ensuring that all team members comply with this AUP. A violation by any team member under your account is treated as a violation by you.
You must promptly remove access for any team member who leaves your organisation or who you believe has violated this AUP.
6. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any use of WikrenaOS that violates this AUP, or if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation, please report it immediately to legal@wikrenaos.com.
We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Your identity will be kept confidential where possible.
7. Enforcement
Wikrena Limited reserves the right to:
- Investigate any suspected violation of this AUP
- Suspend account access immediately if we identify a serious or ongoing violation
- Permanently terminate accounts for material breaches, with no refund obligation where the breach is the subscriber's fault
- Report illegal activity to the appropriate Nigerian law enforcement or regulatory authorities
- Cooperate fully with any lawful investigation by Nigerian authorities
We will provide notice of suspension or termination by email where doing so would not compromise an investigation or legal proceeding. Where appropriate, we will give you an opportunity to remedy a violation before taking action.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time to address new risks or uses of the platform. Material changes will be communicated by email and in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect.
